Airports

Highways

Interstate 64 runs through Albemarle County, providing easy connectivity to Interstates 81 and 95 within an hour. U.S. Route 29 also runs through the County, creating easy access to the Washington, D.C. area.

Rail

Amtrak provides daily passenger train service to and from Washington D.C. and New York. CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern and Buckingham Branch Railroad provide freight service.
